Magnotauro is an independent heavy metal band from Mexico City, formed in September 2014. The creature rose from the ashes of Domine Nation, which formed in the winter of 2009. The first members are José Luis Ruíz and Azael Cedillo, sharing guitar & vocal duties, while Gustavo Marín plays the drums. In March 2013, Martín joined as bassist and backing vocalist. They recorded the first official demo, “Titans’ Rise”, in their hometown. It was mixed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (SWE) and mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound (NY), releasing it on December 12th, 2013. The songwriting talks about occultism, booze, girls, riots, mythology, history and personal struggles in life. They are now rehearsing back in Mexico, producing new songs and booking national and international events, always ready to stomp the stage.
